A New Endeavor for ALF Senior Fellow Akemi Flynn

After five and a half years of stellar contributions to our organization, Chief Impact Officer Akemi Flynn (Class XXVII) has accepted the position of Managing Director of the Immigrant Protection & Empowerment Network at Amigos de Guadalupe. True to the ALF Way, Akemi is following her highest calling through this new role, serving some of our community’s most vulnerable residents, and collaborating with many Senior Fellows.

In 2019, Akemi served as ALF’s first Network Weaver, working with Senior Fellows to launch affinity groups and caucuses. In 2022, Akemi stepped in as co-facilitator of the ALF Fellows Program and has served as the lead facilitator for these last two classes. We are all so grateful for her contributions to American Leadership Forum!

Please join us in wishing Akemi all the best on her new journey!
