Suzanne St. John-Crane joined American Leadership Forum in March of 2016, having been through both Classic Class XXV and the inaugural Urbanism Class XXXIV. St. John-Crane has worked in community media for the last twenty-four years, having served as the founding executive director for two community television stations in the Bay Area including CreaTV San Jose. Suzanne was named one of Silicon Valley’s 100 Women of Influence in 2012 by the Business Journal and currently serves on the boards of The Silicon Valley Organization, ALF National and is the Chair Emeritus for HomeFirst. Suzanne oversees ALF's vision, strategy, fundraising and foundational Fellows program.
Jenny Niklaus, MA, LMFT

Jenny has a 25+ year record of impact based work in a variety of service based nonprofits in Santa Clara County. She has worked with women and children who were victims of violence, those living in poverty and seniors. Prior to coming to ALF as its Chief Impact Officer, Jenny was the CEO of HomeFirst Services. Jenny is a certified yoga teacher and mindfulness practitioner and serves on the leadership team for the Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits.

Mark grew up in Ohio, graduated from Swarthmore College and moved to California in 2003. He worked for United Way in Cincinnati and San Jose before joining ALF in 2016. He loves to play sports and is a huge fan of the NBA and the Golden State Warriors. At ALF, Mark manages the data and technology systems in addition to accounts payable and receivable.

Huong Nguyen grew up in East San Jose and attended San Jose State University for her B.A in Social work. She has worked for Second Harvest Food Bank and former Congressman Mike Honda. She is currently a trustee for San Jose Evergreen Community College District, member of Democratic Activists for Women and loves to spend her spare time powerlifting and spending time with her nephew Malcolm.

Peter graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in English and worked at Etrend Technologies, Planet Fitness, and Nike before taking the Marketing and Communications Director position at American Leadership Forum - Silicon Valley. He is an award winning playwright whose plays have been produced in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and is currently working on Rift Legion Wars, the debut mobile game from indie developer Windy Studios. In his spare time Peter plays the guitar, rides motorcycles, and plays CS:GO and Overwatch.
