Class XLIV Leans Into Their Wilderness Experience

This past June, the current Fellows from Class XLIV gathered for two consecutive days in preparation for their Wilderness Experience, which begins this week. The June session started with a practice hike at Sunol Ohlone Regional Wilderness, followed the next day by an insightful Embodied Leadership & Theory U session at Seagate, hosted by Fellow Laurie Webb.

Guest Faculty Member Rosie Abriam shared stories and practices to help the Fellows reconnect with their bodies in an ever-changing environment. The Fellows also learned Forward Stance, a mind-body approach, or Mui Tai Ji, a martial art form developed to support grounding.

Class XLIV heads off to their Wilderness Experience fully engaged and ready to embrace six days of individual and group challenges, dialogues, and reflection at Gold Lake. We look forward to sharing photos and a summary upon their return. Stay tuned!
