Class XLIV: Taking Stock

Earlier this month, Class XLIV gathered at 1440 Multiversity in Scotts Valley for their two-day, overnight Taking Stock retreat. This session allowed the Fellows to reflect on their journeys over the past year and consider how they want to move forward, especially in the next few months before graduation in March.

Fellows experienced the ALF “Inquiry Circle” process, mindfulness, reflection, and interactive small and whole group exploration and “deep dive” dialogues on topics identified and prioritized by the class. The retreat also included unstructured time for relationship-building, fun, rest, and being in nature, including appreciating the communal strength of the redwoods.

Next up for Class XLIV is a February session focused on civic responsibility.
