Lessons from the Wilderness

In early August, Fellows from Class XLIV met for their Lessons from Wilderness session hosted by Fellow David Leach at the PG&E San Ramon Conference Center.

In preparation for the August session, the Fellows were encouraged to reflect on their weeklong Wilderness Experience in July at Gold Lake and the Sierra Buttes. They then shared valuable insights about their growth as individuals and as a community, underscoring the importance of their experiences and reflections.

Building on those insights from the Wilderness Experience, the Fellows delved further into the opportunities to build community within the class and our broader society.

As the Fellows from Class XLIV near the halfway point in their yearlong journey, the aim of deepening their understanding and commitment to building community across differences with curiosity and empathy and applying their learnings to their leadership continues to come into collective focus.
