ALF National Presents: Race, Religion, & Recovery

October 22, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm PDT

Event Description:

Our country is wrestling with multiple crises that have born an opportunity for us to write a new recovery narrative. Will the door to racial justice be open long enough for transformative personal awakenings and policy shifts? How will religious institutions play a role in our healing? The story is being written as we speak and the outcomes are our individual and collective responsibility. Join ALF Senior Fellows from across the country to practice deep dialogue on how we move our country forward to ensure liberty, freedom and justice for all.

The ALF National Board is piloting zoom events in an effort to bring Senior Fellows together in dialogue. These are truly a grassroots effort, with Chapter Executives and volunteers helping to organize and moderate. ALF represents all of us and, as such, does not subscribe to any singular political ideology. The views and opinions expressed by guest speakers do not necessarily reflect the views of ALF as an organization. We do not, as an organization, formally endorse initiatives or candidates. We hold the container for and welcome authentic dialogues that challenge our thinking and help us gain deeper perspectives. Do you have a topic or a speaker to suggest for an ALF national dialogue? Are you able to help organize a dialogue? Please reach out to ALF National Board Chair Suzanne St. John-Crane at suzanne@alfsv.org.
