WTP Dialogue: Immigration & the imperative of narrative & culture change

Join leaders from the American Immigration Council, a national organization based in D.C.: Dan Siciliano, Board Chair & ALF Senior Fellow (XXXI), Beth Werlin, Executive Director, and Wendy Feliz, Director, Center for Inclusion & Belonging, for a dialogue about “Immigration and the Imperative for Narrative & Culture Change” in this election year and beyond.
We will explore the current climate on immigration and the pathway forward for our democracy.
How did we get to a situation where a president wins campaigning on an anti-immigration platform?
Where do we go from here, particularly in a time of COVID-19?
How can we shift the narrative away from “us vs. them” to themes of mutual interdependence?
This is the second of two sessions with American Immigration Council. The first dialogue was on May 21. Both dialogues are part of ALF’s 2020 democracy initiative: We the People.
